Losses of millions of dollars are reported annually as a consequence of ATM fraud and security is now a key concern for Nigeria’s retail banking industry. The Central Bank of Nigeria has recently mandated that Nigeria’s ATM network expand via the deployment of ATM machines by 3rd party consortia. This expansion will call for a greater emphasis on the prevention and protection of bank ATM systems from fraudulent attack.
AFRICAN BANKER – ATM Security Forum is therefore an important event for all of Nigeria’s banking and independent ATM deployers. All attendees will benefit from up-to-date information on identifying security gaps and vulnerabilities within ATM systems and the secure movement of cash in transit. Networking opportunities also exist for registered delegates via their Post-Forum Champagne Networking session, courtesy of Laurent Perrier.
