Nooooooooo. Dont do that! Contact a near-by professional computer mechanic for assistance. It mustn't neccessary be formated to fix it. Every time u format a PC or removable media like flash drive, a sector is used up reducing the available sectors. The virus problem can be resolve without formating the PC. Just give us the detail of the problems & we would help u out.

    Lightbulb Is your PC protected?

    IS UR PC PROTECTED?
Does ur PC have an anti-virus with latest Scanning definitions? Because If ur PC was protected in the first instance, the virus would not have had an entrance. If the extent of the viral damage is much then I'll provide guideline on how to go about the formatting, else installing, updating & scanning ur PC will fix the problem.
First, I like u 2 consider the 2nd option, i.e installing of anti-virus. Buy & install a genuine anti-virus like Norton, Nod32, Kaspersky etc. Update & scan ur PC and then restart it.The anti-virus will automatically detect and remove the virus after the scan.
This is helpful too. Microsoft offer a wonderful free malware removal tool. U can download it & scan ur PC with it in addition 2 the anti-virus or before u install the anti-virus. This is the link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
