    Default My Laptop refuse to Stand by.



    Please ,Help. My Laptop refuse to stand by,
    The stanby button is there ,but any time i point the cursor at it it will not show as been highlighted ,so I can not click.

    Default Checklist


    I once had a similar problem ,Suffered much ,but got it resolved simply.This problem is common with windows SP service pack 3
    Follow this chek List:

    1 Restart your System

    2 Boot in safe mode

    3 Uninstall any hardware you recently installed

    4 Run a thorough antivirus and Anti-trojan scan,with many of them,to include hijack this and updated spyware search and destroy

    5 Or Like my case re-install your video driver or upgrade it,this is how mine resolved

    6 If it persist ,consider Formating,No virus or fault defied that.

    Hi, check your system device manager and be sure your displkay driver is installed.
