The Independent National Electoral Commission has released the time-table for the 2011 elections.

Under the time-table announced by INEC Chairman, Professor Atahiru Jega, presidential polls will hold on the 9th of April.

Governorship and state assemblies election will take place on the 16th of April.

Elections into the national assembly will however take place on the 2nd of April.
Run-off elections for presidential and governorship where necessary would hold within seven days after the announcement of the affected election.
