The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) yesterday released a provisional registration figure of 67,764,327, with Lagos State topping the list with 6,247,845 would-be voters.

Kano State is second with 5,135,415 million registered voters, according to INEC’s final tally on a state-by-state basis.

Kaduna (3,565,762), Katsina (2,931,668), Borno (2,730,368), Oyo (2,577,490). Rivers (2,419,057), Sokoto (2,065,508), Plateau (1,983,453) and Delta (1,900,055). Bayelsa with 472,389 brings up the rear among the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). FCT has 886,323 would-be voters.
