    - The INEC REC Prof. Chukwuemeka Onukogu declared the election cancelled and ordered re=run in 10 wards across four local government areas. He ordered a rerun. He also announced Prof. Charles Esimonye as the new Returning Officer who would handle the rerun poll after Anene’s alleged resignation.

The wards are in Idemili North, Idemili South, Dunukofia and Njikoka local governments.

Onukogu said he canceled the elections in the four local government areas following protest from Ngige.

Charles Odedo of the ACN had earlier declared winner of the election in Idemili North/South federal constituency.

    - The returning officer last night at the Tourist Gardens Hotel in Awka under tight security, said he had all authentic results duly written on Form EC8 and he declared Chris Ngige winner of Anambra Central Senatorial District election.

With all due respect i advice Madam Akunyili to please back out and face her federal apointment relationship alone and alow our preciouse vote for the man that understands our problem or rather our Anambrarian's problem solution solver in the person of Honourable Dr Christ Ngige to go ahead and expose ones more what is surpose to be our quota from the fedral level which those there before has refused doing just as he did in the governorship level in anambra states. i also wish to advice Madam Dora to forget without any regreat her indulgent in Anambra politics and please bear with us because indeed she have never represented us the igbos as she ought to have done because if trully she has done so, the post of infomation minister which was zoned for us would not have been giving to another but because she never worked towards bringing any igbo man closer to her while in office, she left there and recomended another tribe. so in my judgement and conclution to this matter i'm mandating Madan Dora to please stay off Anambra politics completlly not even staying aside as Babangida did, indeed i am happy she understads this exactlly when she said it all by her self that she will be more happier to loose ellection than to loose her credibility so the ball is now in your court because if this ellection is to be re runed, the evidence will be more clear that your result was falsified. In conclution,we apreciate your good work while in Nafdac and as the information minister especially during the Yaradua saga but your problem is that you are distancing your self from helping us your brothers otherwise, how many igbo's or Agulu people to be presise is working in Nafdac?. please use your lips and count your teeth because one good turn with your people deserves another good turn from your people. Thanks, Magnus
