In total votes, ACN is leading with 5000 votes.

One more results is still beeing anticipated from Ibadan South / West which happens to be the stronghold of the ACN gubernatorial candidate.

Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, the PDP gubernatorial candidate was reported to have swept the votes in the Ogbomosho area of Oyo State but trailing in Ibadan area as at press time.

-Police arrest Senator Kamoru Adidebu, son of late Lamidi Adidebu and his thugs as they tried to disrupt elections in some parts of Ibadan.

-Another set of thugs arrested at the residence of Oyo State Deputy Governor Toafeek Arapaja in the Felele area of Ibadan as they thumb-printed ballots in the deputy governor's home.

-Former chairman of Ibadan North Ademola Omotosho aka Arole arrested alongside his thugs too for disrupting elections in the area.

Akala won in Ogbomosho North, Ogbomosho South, Orire, Ogo Oluwa, Ibarapa East.

Ajimobi won in Oluyole, Akinyele, Ibadan South East, Ibadan South West and Ibadan North, Saki East, Afijio, Oyo West

Ladoja won in Ona-Ara, Egbeda and Lagelu

Figures from Ogbomosho shows PDP leads ACN with over 97,000 votes.

However it was learnt that INEC Nigeria cancelled the result of Ogbomoso North constituency, citing irregularities and violence. (Unconfirmed report from the nations newspaper online).

Oyo State Gubernatorial Election:

INEC already declared 22 Local Council.

ACN won 16; PDP 5; Accord 1.

Ajumobi still leading with 45,000 votes after the monstrous 35,000 votes from Akala's Ogbomosho was included.
