Perhaps chinelu can expand and highlight the extent of NTA"s being a bottle neck. I am sure many others are ready to discuss and find a solution to our problems. Abi?

Ok Sir , I will take it from there, "Wind don blow ,Foul yansh go expose".Make we speak our heart ..ba.
NTA : Nigerian Television Authority !!!! Hnmmmmmmm.
Right from the Begining i Hate watching their news and programs ,they Broadcast news as if they were paying the last respect to corpses, gluing their eyes to the script (Paper) as if the paper will run away,Some even hardly look up as if they are TV shy or afraid of the camera.all of the editing are so poor infact i have tuned out their channel from the TV save only Some few Lagos NTA channels that are still managing, but they are still compromised, they received all their orders from above. If you are an ardent viewerof NTA ,then you know your house will be on fire and they will say ,it is raining.
What more Sir do you want us us to say...........

You are right on the point there Mr.Davis. Some people have argued that adopting the BBC standards of presentation might not be the best option for NTA, particularly in a world made small with thousands of other channels to choose from, Even at that the newscasters are not conversant yet with the Tele-prompter which is a recent addition to its studios. But yet others say this is the case with even the independent stations when it comes to news presentation.Perhaps a home grown approach would be the answer, according to another, that is if they can bring themselves down to earth and broadcast to the people that pay them and not to presumed clueless viewers of the early 60s. This suggests that most of them feel they are doing Nigerians a favour reading to them, being such high and mighty celebrities. Perhaps with time and setting their priorities well, NTA will make you proud.

And that is why they should all be sacked, they stay on that chair reading News like people in 12th Century with uncountable "Sorry for the break in Transmission ".
A reporter will be focused ,instead of talking he will be staring at the camera for almost 3 minutes ,not knowing that He/She has been focussed.Just tuned to NTA and see wonder each day, things are getting worse,Adverts are started at the middle and cutted before the end,Talks enter adverts and Adverts enter talks.
The Studio itself look more like a shrine than a studio,With one cloth or cloned photo behind,I wonder why they are not ashamed.
This suggests that most of them feel they are doing Nigerians a favour reading to them, being such high and mighty celebrities.
Which celebrity,Who kno no who?.They are doing themselve a favour.

The Other side of Nigerian media is the Balllon effect, though it is a step towards better media;Exagerrating News beyond media standards for readership sake.

Comparatively ,I commend the efforts of the media in Nigeria,All things are being laid bared,I just hope they will not take it to the extreme.

That exactly is the other point: 'take it to the extreme'. What and whose extreme is now what we have to determine.
