NTA !!! You can't beat the rest.........

I had always taught it was NTA !!! You can't beat the rest.........,Anytime NTA shows that there old time believers motto song "NTA !!! You can't beat the reach.........".That look more reasonable because despite age long tech,they have vowed for obsolete traditions and have not been able to beat the rest comparatively (NTA starting much longer than most and having more resource,Financial and Manpower at their disposals).

Let's talk NTA.

Na whoa for this people! management is their problem.Their focus has been shifted from news management to money management. How can they become relevant in this competitive age when greediness is about swallowing them up?

You are right Maaik. However if a praise-singer sings your praises and gets nothing in return. he either turns to your opponent and praise him while he ridicules you, or else he pretends not to notice you to get what he wants. NTA is obsolete and must compete in a very competitive world where new hard/software for its trade are churned out by the hour. You have to change with the rest to be in the race. When Government gives NTA money to buy new equipment, they attach so many strings- 10 %ters, chop-i-chop, man-no-be-wood-, so that in the end the money cannot buy anything. AND nothing will happen, because even the man who smells rats- the Auditor- no bi wood. So Brother let them boast if they find some peace and quiet there.

NTA needs revolution,they need to sack all staff's and employ new ones.

Again that is like draining the blood of a person suffering from sickle cell and pumping new blood. It is not practical. NTA will then go the way of Nigerian Airways, even if it is. Find another solution my brother. This is more so because the number of people visible on the NTA is just a fraction of the workforce. There may be more than 80% of the staff putting in an honest day"s work daily. If you sack all then "there is no more justice in this world any more".

If NTA must progress,Then I see them using more young hands and introducing more youth oriented programs as obtainable here in SA.

The principal job of any outfit like the NTA is to inform, educate and entertain. This task is for the whole society remember? They have to balance everything, allowing none to overshadow the other. This is because they are mostly owned by 'We the people..' Private stations can air what they want within the laws of the land, but not a public owned station that is only independent on paper in its editorial decisions. Time my friend. Time.
