The future of traditional journalism in nigeria is shaky.

Traditional journalism has played a major role in paving way for online journalism to come to existence. This is seen in the use of text, pictures and graphics. It's no news that about 80% of Nigerians depend on the new media for entertainment, information and educative materials. On the other hand,a good number of nigerians still partronize the newspapers and magazines. We cant strike a balance between the two because day after day more people edge towards online journalism. If this trend is allowed to go on like this, then one day the traditional journalism will become a history. But this can be avert by letting both journalism(traditional and online)to complement each other,i.e it should be such that one cannot do without the other. By so doing traditional journalism will live long in Nigeria.
