The Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi State is one of the nine newly established Federal Universities in Nigeria. Qualifications
(a) Professor (CONUASS 7)
Candidates should possess a Ph.D degree from a recognized University with at least ten (10) years teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic leadership. Candidates must also be specialists in core areas of departmental fields of study with evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus membership of relevant professional bodies where required. Candidates must have attained the rank of Professor at time of application.
(b) Associate Professor (CONUASS 6)
Qualifications are as stated for Professor but with at least eight (8) years teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must have evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus membership of relevant professional bodies where required. Candidates must also have attained the rank of Associate Professor at time of application.
(c) Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 5)
Qualifications are the same as for (b) above but with at least six (6) years teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must have evidence of at least eight (8) scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus membership of relevant professional bodies where required.
(d) Lecturer I (CONUASS) 4
Candidates should possess a Ph.D from a recognized University with at least three (3) years post-Doctoral teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution. They must also have evidence of at least six (6) journal articles in both local and international learned reputable journals, plus membership of relevant professional bodies where required.
(e) Lecturer II (CONUASS 3)
Candidates should possess the same qualifications as for (d) above with at least three (3) publications in local and international reputable learned journal, plus membership of relevant professional bodies where required.
(f) Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 2)
Candidates should possess an M.Sc or M.A. degree in a relevant field plus clear evidence of registration for a Ph.D. programme from recognized Universities. Membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage.

(i) Candidates should possess a good honors degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized University plus nine (9) years post-qualification experience plus registration with a recognized professional body.
(ii) HND in Quantity Surveying plus 12 years cognate experience and membership of Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS).

Candidates should possess MBBS from a recognized university plus nine (9) years post-housemanship experience. They should also have postgraduate training in Public Health, Community Health and Family Medicine or General Medicine. Membership of Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria is required.
(b) Senior Medical Officer (CONUSSS 11)
(i) Candidates should possess an MBBS plus three (3) years residency/post-housemanship experience; or
(ii) MBBS plus diploma in a medically related discipline. Membership of Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria is required.
(c) Senior Pharmacist (CONUSSS 11)
Candidates should possess a B. Pharm or B.Sc. Pharmacy degree from a recognized university with three (3) years post-registration experience plus membership of the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria.
(d) Senior Nursing Officer (CONUSSS 9)
(i) Candidates should be members of the Nurses Registration Council of Nigeria (NRCN) or Nigeria Registered Midwives (NRM) with six (6) years post-registration experience or possess specialist qualification in intensive care nursing, coronary care nursing or public health; or
(ii) Bachelor of Nursing plus three years post-qualification experience.

Qualifications are the same as for senior Nursing Officer but with four (4) years post-qualification experience.

Candidates should possess NRCN or NRM membership.
