The Umaru Musa Yar’adua University was established by the Katsina State Law No 7 of 2006 as amended by Law No. 2 of 2009. Candidates shall possess a Ph.D degree or equivalent postgraduate professional qualification or Master Degree

Must have a minimum of eight ( 8 publications in reputable journals
Show aptitude for teaching and research, and be of good character
Computer literacy is also an added advantage.
