The incessant occurrence and increasing number of child abuse cases has assumed unpleasant dimension which should not be under-estimated. This is a reflection of a serious dysfunctional society, one that wastes its future in the hands of neglected children. The dream of establishment of CGCI was therefore borne out of the founder's passion emancipation, survival and sustainability of the underprivileged, orphans, displaced, disadvantaged and vulnerable children in the society. DO YOU KNOW THAT: **Thousands of children are undergoing one form of abuse or another in the country everyday! **A good number of supposedly 'future leaders' roam about the street homeless! **Child abuse is an offence punishable under the Child Rights Law in Nigeria. **Parents who cannot afford to take proper care of their children can give them up for ADOPTION by VOLUNTARY SUBMISSION TO GOVERNMENT. It is not a crime but a worthwhile gesture to better the future of such a child. STOP CHILD ABUSE! Report any cases of child abuse to the law enforcement agencies.
