Default How to get the country from falling within the definition of a failed State

There can be no doubt that the recent events surrounding Nigeria's President, Umaru Yar'Adua and his health has plunged Nigeria into a political crisis. I do not really want to engage in covered conversations but just highlight three key issues that reflect the flaws that the good people of Nigeria have been subjected to:

    1. The BBC interview was a hoax, and should be investigated. Misleading interviews such as this one that concerns the fibre of peace and stability in the country has been swept under the carpet. This act evidences the accusations that the cabal are acting with self interest at the heart of their objectives for this country. I am not fully aware of the consequences of such action but I do know that this act is criminal, and there is a penal repercussion for this deceit, which cannot be avoided.

2.The interpretation of the vacation letter on health grounds was a farce. Beyond the point made above, no President would use foreign media to address his concerned nation in a dire manner as the one described. Furthermore, the fact that a senior public servant like Andooka (if that is the spelling) would defend this stance is not only disappointing but an affront to any learned professional in Nigeria. His position was not only untenable but without any merit.

    3. Who brought the army out of the barracks on that faithful night without the ratification of the Ag President? Terminologies such as treason and insubordination come to the forefront of this matter, and must be attended to and investigated thoroughly.

The truth of the matter is that First Lady Turai does not seem to have the political clout or guts to pull these stunts. There is a faction behind this woman driving her and using her position as a cover to extend and further their cause. However, these misguided people must realise that Turai holds no constitutional position, and her recognition as the First Lady is merely a title that is tied to the fate of the President.

How much more do you think the good people of Nigeria will tolerate this debacle? No electricity; no fuel and no leader. Life is hard enough for the average man in this country as a direct result of selfish so-called leaders of the nation. It is time for the masses to wake up and think for themselves about their future. You do not need political godfathers. You need to vote according to yur conscience. The bribe money they give you to vote for them is invariably yours!! Take it but vote as you wish! These politicians do not care about you. If they did, they would wouldn't walk in a manner that is high and mightier than you when they stroll past, or try and push your car off the road as they drive past.

Always remember this- They are public servants. They serve us, and not the other way round, good people. We are meant to hold them to account, and not them holding us to ransom!! If the Constitution is not followed accordingly, we will rightly fall under the definition of a failed state, and deservedly so!

Let's wake up, and ask our servants the serious questions. We want food, light and representation! Anyrthing less is just not good enough for you to earn our votes!!

Great truth,I see no reason for the office of the first lady also,It is just a vacuum that consumes and consumate public resource for nothing.
let us learn from the developed nations, Saudi ,Us China etc.

The fact is dat Turai does not want her "sicky sicky" husband to live power.
I'm wondering when Goodluck will start commanding order and stop listening 2 a noise making pretending woman.I'm surprised at wat those pple called representatives are representing.
