Nigeria plans to issue 44.45 billion naira ($300 million) in 91-day and 182-day treasury bills next Wednesday, the central bank said on Thursday.

The bank said it would issue 14.45 billion naira in 91-day bills and 30 billion naira in the 182-day instruments using the Dutch Auction system.

The results would be released the following day.

The central bank said in a public notice the amount on offer could vary in line with market conditions at the time of the auction.

Nigeria, issues treasury bills regularly as part of measures to control money supply, curb inflation and help banks manage their liquidity.
