Niger Tornadoes have been hit with a N1 million fine by the Nigeria Premier League as punishment for both their starting and reserve goalkeepers turning up in unauthorised kit for last weekend's game.

Okiki Tawose and Timothy Unachukwu both showed up for the 1-2 loss at Heartland kitted in Nigeria jersey, and NPL's Acting Executive Secretary Tunji Babalola said in a statement that the action was in contravention of League
Regulations.

Tornadoes will have to pay the fine before their next home game.
