Nigeria Premier League side Niger Tornadoes have sacked coach Ladan Bosso with club officials unwilling to volunteer a reason for this dismissal.

A club official informed MTNFootball.com that Bosso has “only been asked to step aside”.

Angry club supporters threatened to beat up Bosso after Tornadoes were held to a goalless draw by newly-promoted JUTH FC of Jos at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna at the weekend.

Tornadoes are now 10th on the table with four points after three matches.

The team will now be handled by his assistant and former Enyimba coach, Samson Unuanel.

Bosso rejoined his hometown club in the middle of last season after a torrid time at Wikki Tourist of Bauchi. The Minna club eventually ended the season in seventh place.

The former national Under-20 team coach has been linked with working as an assistant coach in the country’s Olympic team to be headed by Austin Eguavoen.

There have already been changes at two other NPL sides, Bukola Babes and Ocean Boys, with speculations also rife about the future of coach Ndubuisi Nduka at Plateau United after they lost their first two home matches.
