The vice chairman of the Pride of Benue has called on fans to stand by them at all times as they work towards relaunching themselves back in the elite division

Lobi Stars fans and supporters have been urged to be patient with the team as the Pride of Benue strive to work their way back to recapture the glory of old.

The vice chairman of the Makurdi side, Mike Idoko stated that coaches of the team have been told to submit their performance chart for the just concluded league season with a view to correct the lapses noticed during the last campaign.

“We won’t play second fiddle next season. We finished fifth on the log but we are aware we could end the season better than that," Idoko told Goal.

"I have told the coaches to forward their performance chart for last season for perusal and we are hoping that after devising solution to our weaknesses, we will come back stronger next season."

Lobi ended the campaign fifth on the log with 55 points from 36 matches.
