El Kanemi Warriors’ chairman, Mohammed Zannah has revealed that the Borno Army will soon unfold plans towards making an appreciable impact in the league and the Federation Cup next season.
The Maiduguri side were a force to reckon with few seasons ago but they have not been able to replicate the performance of old and Zannah noted that the Borno Army have started looking inwards to identify some of the problems that bedeviled the team last season and to find a potent solution.
“We will soon come out with our plans for next season,” Zannah told Goal.
“We won’t be satisfied with just making up the number and it is the reason we want to discuss what has been responsible for our recent slide and what must be done to arrest the ugly trend. El Kanemi Warriors will be better and bigger next season.”
