Enyimba forward Mfon Udoh is still undecided over a move to Sudanese club Al Merreikh despite his club indicating interest in the switch, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The prolific striker who scored nine goals to emerge top scorer in the CAF Champions League this year is reportedly being tracked by the Sudanese
Enyimba president, Felix Anyansi Agwu recently stated that the club will not stop the former Akwa United player from moving abroad.
“Let him go there (Al Merreikh) first. We don’t want to discuss it in the newspapers. It will send a wrong impression,” Anyansi was quoted as saying.
“If they invited him, Enyimba will not stop him from going to Al Merreikh, he is free to go.”
But the forward in a chat with Completesportsnigeria.com on Thursday said he is yet to decide on his future.
“I have not decided on anything yet,” Udoh told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“Right now, I’m in my house and still enjoying my holiday.
“I can’t say for now whether I will stay with Enyimba or join another club.
“When the time is right I will decide on my next move.”
