With the action of the acting president Goodluck Jonathan, i hope the house assembly will allow him to flush out some people that did not want nigeria to move forward. As a matter of fact will need to know where the people in power are ruling the nation to, we are in democracy & we all know what it means.

Default PDP not aware of plans to reshuffle cabinet

The minor cabinet change carried out by Acting President Goodluck Jonathan on his first day in office did not receive the blessing of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), it was learnt yesterday.
he leadership of the PDP was completely in the dark about the move despite the fact that the National Chairman of the party, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor had led members of the National Working Committee (NWC) to pay homage on the Acting President on Tuesday night. He said the matter was neither discussed nor was the party consulted.

According to the source, the leadership of the party was completely taken aback by the exercise to the extent that some members of the NWC made frantic calls to reporters to confirm the news of the ministers’ redeployment.

He said that the party was not against Jonathan’s action but that it was necessary that the party be informed as was customary when such exercises are to be carried out. The party, he said, needed to make its "input."
