President Jonathan to Run in 2011- aide

Special adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on National Assembly matters, Cairo Ojougboh has confirmed the president’s intention to run in the 2011 presidential election.

Briefing newsmen in Abuja, the presidential adviser said “I believe that Jonathan is contesting and is running for the presidency, Mr. President is a PDP president and he is a member of PDP and Mr. President will run under the PDP”.

He went on to add that there is no moral justification to ask President Jonathan not to run despite the zoning policy of the PDP.

This finally puts to rest speculations over the past months on whether or not the president would run in the presidential election next year.

I'm not still convinced that he's going to run as a President or running mate in the next election.What he wants is to conduct a free and fair election.

Well, we are not babies and should not think like one. Nigerian politicians are are babies and they believe we can be decieved with their baby-like lies and tricks. You and I know that politics would not be played in its true sense by these so called old regenerating politicians, who recycle power to themselves. It is high time The Nigerian Youths take their cross and take up the course to bringing Nigeria to its throne, by cleaning up the mess littered by these old politicians.
Contesting or not, we should 'Make hay while the sun shines"

Indeed,His main task should be to clean up as much as he can.The beginning of a thorough electoral reform.
