With the goodwill of some of our Members , In line with the Missions and Goals of this Community,We have donated a widow's mite to Haiti's Disaster relief cause.
We have now decided to throw it open ,for individuals to also help on their own or Join the pool.

This is a brief update and note of thanks to so many of you who have responded to Tuesday’s earthquake in Haiti, which caused a staggering human tragedy.
The images from Haiti we have all seen articulate the gravity and sadness of the situation far better than words can.
Direct Relief has worked closely for many years with local partners in Haiti who provide essential health services for people. So, within moments of the event, we began mobilizing our resources and launched an extensive relief operation to provide critically needed medical resources. This weekend, FedEx is airlifting the first of what will be an ongoing stream of Direct Relief’s emergency medical aid.
In the unavoidable challenges to align support and logistics, we’re fortunate to have had good communication with local Haitian partners who were already providing key services to people, are continuing to do so under the strain of the emergency, and will continue to do so long into the future.
The infusion of cash and resources we are receiving will be used to assist these and other organizations we know and trust in Haiti that will continue to play a critical role in the recovery in the months and years ahead. It will be a long road.
Direct Relief is providing urgently needed medical and financial assistance to these partners so they can continue their current emergency life-saving work and be strengthened moving forward.

If you have made a donation, please accept our heartfelt thanks for what you have done. 100% of every dollar donated for Haiti will be used only to help people in Haiti.
The generosity of people has been humbling and, in many cases, particularly poignant. People and groups of very modest means that Direct Relief has helped in the aftermath of prior emergencies—in Pakistan, India, Africa, and Latin America—were among the people and businesses who have offered to help and made donations.
These many acts of generosity are a reason for hope.
