The State Security Service [SSS] has recovered a wired car which was meant to be used for Independence Day bomb blast.

Addressing a news conference in Abuja, the spokesperson for the SSS, Mrs Marilyn Ogar said that the sister of one of the suspects who admitted she was in charge of manning the car revealed that it was purchased and wired for the Abuja bombing incidence in Port Harcourt.

She led the SSS officials to the hotel in Port Harcourt where the car was kept.

Other items in the recovered car were ten bulletproof jackets and camouflage vests, military boots, water bottles and camp tents.

They were sent to Abuja through a transport courier company in Lagos.
