John Mikel Obi’s elder brother Ebele has revealed that his father’s abductors spoke to his mum last night, although they didn’t make any monetary demands.
“My mum was crying whilst speaking with my father’s abductors. They called twice, but it was the second call that gave my mum hope when they assured her that my dad was alive.”
Ebele disclosed further that the kidnappers told his mum that they shouldn’t bother searching for his father in Jos since he has been relocated to another area suspected to be Lagos.
Ebele however, said that the hoodlums told them where his dad’s car is packed there. Speaking from Enugu to the Nation and the Sporting Life, where he plays for Enugu Rangers, Ebele said,” My dad is alive. We heard his voice. He says that he is okay and he is being looked after.
“We are happy to hear that he is alive and that gives us hope that sometime soon he will be released to us after God would have touched their wicked hearts to do so, “he added.
