Default Imo State Commissioner For Commerce Kidnapped

In absolute defiance of Governor Rochas Okorocha’s recently declared war on kidnappers and their activities in Imo State, the perpetrators of the nefarious act have struck again in the state. This time, they showed readiness to confront the constituted authority in the state as their victim happened to be the Imo State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Lady Chioma Ogoke.
She was kidnapped by gun-totting men in Owerri when she stopped near a popular restaurant in Ikenegbu Layout to buy recharge card. The commissioner’s official car was abandoned as the kidnappers drove her away in their own vehicle.

No ransom has been demanded as of the time of filing this report. Feelers in the Imo State capital have it that this might just be the baptism of fire for the newly launched anti-kidnapping squad in the state, code named “Operation Rescue”.

The issue of kidnapping is becoming warisome! Because is further and continuosly tarnishing the image of our country nigeria. And realy to me this miscreans doing this, have no reason of doing that. Because government of late president yar, adua has done all it can to acomodate them together with their militant contapant. By creating ministry of niger delta, the nddc, and also the amnesty program. More so the federal goverment have set aside 13: percent of the oil income to the region. Beside the monthly subvention that is allocated to their states which is 2o times the one of the northern states. So sincerely speaking all their demands having met.now my advice to goverment! They should use all the security aparatus to peach this miscrean out, and prosecute them to face rate of the law. So as to ensure equality before the law.
