Police Shot 2 As Robbers Raided Ram Market In Lagos

I wonder why people will go and hack rams for sallah instead of buying even a small one

The Police in Lagos foiled a plots by three armed men who attempted stealing 3 rams at the ram market in Gbagada area of Lagos, Nigeria.

Early on Tuesday [the day of the Eid-Kabir celebration} at about 2am, three armed men stromed the ram market in a Mazda car shot sporadically into the air as they entered the market.

Some of the ram sellers who slept in the market took to their heels.

The Punch newspaper quoted an unnmed police officer, who declined identification because he was not authorised to speak on behalf of the police, that the men quickly selected three fat rams and put them inside the boot of their get-away car.

But the gun they shot into the air when they were entering the market, attracted policemen on patrol duty and the policemen went there.

"On sighting the robbers, the policemen told them to give themselves up. But, instead of complying, they shot at the policemen.

At the end of the day, two of them were shot dead, while the third one ran away. We recovered the rams and the car,"he said.

This is very silly,even goats are in trouble,something that is make for sacrifice to God,a human been still went ahead to steal for sacrifice. Chei !!

Needless to say,that is an unacceptable sacrifice.
