    Angry Mob action>

A lot of concern has been expressed on the ever rising and senseless actions of Mobs in our cities and, now, even the rural areas. Taking of lives by a senseless, faceless mob retards our collective national progress and direction. What is your solution?

Ideally all groups have their own codes of behaviour or operation, which must conform to the laws of the land. In most parts of the country, Vigilantes are voluntary organizations that are recognized, but the others you mentioned may be the same. The Mob I am talking about is the one that acts spontaneously in anger either at some one*s say so or on a baseless rumour, killing and maiming innocent lives. A case in point is where a man was killed by such a mob, simply because his friend, who was with him then, jokingly called him a thief. They were looking at second hand shirts, and the man killed said to his friend to give him N500 and he would give him a new CK shirt. So he pat his back and said"you thief". The next thing was death.

I will attribute that to continual aggression,Lawlessness and moral decadence in our society.
Aggression, they found no reason at all to reason with the so-called thief, perhaps thieves have taking out of their impoverished little.
Lawlessness, because they do not trust the law enforcement, you know you can take a thief to the police station and the thief will be out while you will going behind the bars,You know how and what I am talking about.A man's daughter was impregnated by a rich man ,He raises a small voice ,next day he slept in the Police cell.
Moral decadence;Even all this should not justify the act ,but our moral fibers are weak and ailing.
