Last night was a horror for people of Eket, Akwa ibom state as armed robbers held the town bound with display of ammunition and will power. They fired unceasingly for more than an hour until the UBA bank's building was destroyed, among the weapons used as reported by others is hand held grenades, the ATM machine was also completely damaged.
The sad part of the story is that , the security agents were nowhere to be found untill the departure of the Armed robbers that besiege the bank comfortably, sounds of police siren was heard about an hour after the departure of the armed robbers.
