One man was in tears yesterday.

He was said to be the organizer of the friendly. He had invested so much and would lose so much by the cancellation of the match. He could not take questions and was not only overwhelmed but totally lost. Pity.

Muda Lawal's family disappointed

It was disappointment for members of the family of late Green Eagles icon, Mudashiru Lawal who were supposed to be part of the spectators at the Vicarage Road stadium for the Super Eagles/Black Stars encounter yesterday.

NFF's Acting General Secretary, Barrister Musa Amadu had said last month in Abuja that the NFF would invite Muda Lawal's wife and two of his five children who are based in London, to the international friendly as special guests.

Although the football house kept its word, the match was put off by Watford Police for security reasons.
