The Spain international has reiterated that he is happy at the Etihad Stadium and still thoroughly enjoying life in a demanding Premier League

David Silva feels like he has spent “an eternity” at Manchester City and while he insists he is not “obsessed” by the pursuit of titles, he's adamant that he has lost none of determination to succeed.

The Spain international slotted seamlessly into Premier League life following his 2010 arrival from Valencia.

He has been a model of consistency for City throughout the most successful era in their history, with two top-flight titles, two League Cups and a FA Cup success added to his enviable roll of honour.

Silva was already a World Cup winner when he arrived at the Etihad, with the pinnacle of his profession reached in 2010.

He has, however, continued to raise the bar when it comes to creative and playmaking talent, with the City schemer widely regarded as one of the best in the business.

After six years with the Blues he could be forgiven for contemplating a new challenge, with talk of interest from China doing the rounds.
