As the campaign and plot to prevent Dr. Sam Sam Jaja thickens, the Rivers State born football administrator said, he is qualified to preside over the Nigerian Premier League.

The immediate past president of the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) said yesterday that those plotting his disqualification are ignorant of his football administration background and experience.

"I hold the English FA certificate on International Course for referees instructors in 2005, English FA advance International Course Referees Instructors Certificate in 2006 and CAF Diploma for English speaking high level referees instructors evaluation in 2005."

The former Nigeria Football Association (NFA) board member said since 2005 and on yearly basis, he has and still is a resource person in pre-season referees training at the National Zonal and State level.

"I am the proprietor, chairman and sole financier of VON FC in Rivers State. Match Commissioner who recently commissioned FC Abuja versus Niger Tornadoes (2008/2009) season, Lobi versus Gombe United, 3SC versus Wikki Tourist all in 2009/2010 season, a patron of Rivers State United FC now Christ the King FC of Port Harcourt."
