Football Nigeria-Angola - The football friendly between the home-based Super Eagles of Nigeria and Nations Cup-bound Palancas Negras of Angola will now hold on Wednesday in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, according to officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The match was reportedly moved to Cotonou, Benin Republic, because of the fuel strike that began in Nigeria Monday.
However, NFF spokesman Demola Olajire said the match had now been confirmed for Abuja.
“The match is no longer going to hold in Benin because there was a late decision to stage the match at the Abuja National stadium. The match will now come up on Wednesday,” the local media Monday quoted him as saying.
