Nigeria Skipper Nwankwo Kanu broke down in tears after the Super Eagles sealed a 3-2 win over Kenya to book their place at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Kanu was joined in the tear-ebration by his assistant Joseph Yobo and midfielder John Mikel Obi.
All three broke down and wept like babies in the team dressing room and Kanu told KickOffNigeria.com that the squad had been vindicated.
"We knew it was out of our hands, but we always believed in ourselves as a team," he said. "We knew how difficult it was for us in Mozambique, so we were sure it would be hard for Tunisia there.
"We just needed to do our own jobs and hope for the best."
Nigeria finished as group winners on 12 points, one ahead of Tunisia. Mozambique took third place on 7 points.
All three qualify for the African Nations Cup in Angola. Kenya finished bottom of the pile with just 3 points.
