Nigeria defender Taye Taiwo looks set to determine his future at French Club, Olympique Marseille, when the summer transfer window commences in June.


The 25-year-old defender has been a subject of transfer talks that have linked him with a host of top European sides like AC Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and recently Portuguese giants, Benfica.


The former Lobi Stars of Makurdi Left Back has refused to extend his contract at Olympique Marseille and is holding out for an exit from France.


Taiwo is planning showdown talks with his employers at Olympique Marseille, as his contract is scheduled to run out this summer.


However, it is understood that Taiwo has agreed in principle with another unnamed club for a summer move away from France with Benfica being his likely destination.
