Visafone Subscribers can update their data subscription from any Visafone handset anywhere within Visafone coverage area using recharge cards. Subscribers’ data subscription is automatically updated at the dial of a short code if they have sufficient balance.

For the main menu Dial *444*600# (or send 600 to 444) you will receive the menu below via SMS

1) 1X Plans
If you require a 1x plan, Dial *444*640# (or send 640 to 444) you will receive the menu below via SMS
- 641) 1x50M Daily
- 642) 1x2G Monthly
- 643) 1x5G Monthly

To subscribe for a data plan, dial *444*code*Modem Number# (or send CODE Number to 444).
Example:
To update your subscription for 1x 50MB 1Day, dial *444*641*NUMBER# (or send 641 NUMBER to 444). The account of the data NUMBER specified will be extended by 1 day on 1x 50MB with an inclusive bundle of 50MB while N120 will be deducted from your phone or modem.

“Number” is the subscriber’s data account number.

2) EV Plans (EVDO Plans)
If you require an EVDO plan, Dial *444*650# (or send 650 to 444) you will receive the menu below via SMS

To update your subscription for Ev 1.2G Monthly, dial *444*664*NUMBER# (or send 664 NUMBER to 444). The account of the data NUMBER specified will be extended by 30 days on Ev 1.2G Monthly with an inclusive bundle of 1.2GB while N3,000 will be deducted from your phone.

“Number” is the subscriber’s data account number.
4) Check Status
To check the status of your data subscription, dial *444*601*Number#. The status of the data account specified including date of expiration and current plan subscribed will be sent to your phone via SMS.


5) Cancel Subscription
To cancel your current subscription, dial *444*603*Number#. Your data account will be suspended.

-At the start of a new billing cycle, your account will be renewed if you have sufficient balance in your modem or phone (for mobile internet). If you do not have sufficient balance, the service will be suspended.

 Existing subscribers can move from one service plan to another by dialing a short code.
- All plans are automatically renewed when subscribers load required amount on modem with recharge cards.
- You can switch from prepaid internet to any plan of your choice.
- You can renew your current plan by simply topping up your modem with recharge cards or dialing the codes above from any Visafone prepaid handset.
- You can change from your current plan to another plan only after your current plan EXPIRES.
- You cannot switch from any plan to Visa Mobile Internet; to get Visa Mobile Internet you have to visit the nearest Visafone outlet.
- Existing Visa Mobile Internet users can update their subscription by simply loading the required airtime in their phone; the airtime will be automatically deducted and their subscription will be renewed.
