The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps-NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Maharazu Tsiga, on Wednesday in Kaduna said over 95,000 graduates would be mobilised for the 2011 Batch ‘B’ one year compulsory national service.

Tsiga said that this would be the first time in the 38 years of the scheme’s existence that such a large of graduates would be mobilised for service.

Speaking at the 2011 Batch ‘B’ Pre-Orientation Workshop, he said that the scheme had been witnessing tremendous growth in the number of corps members participating every year.

Meanwhile fears trail on the service scheme over the incessant out burst of killing of corps members especially in the North.
