The Flying Antelopes boss has declared his side's readiness for the Nigerian topflight new season which commences on January 14

Coach Imama Amapakabo has disclosed that Enugu Rangers are battle ready for the 2016/17 Nigeria Professional Football League season which kicks up in ten days’ time.

The Flying Antelopes’ triumph last season in the NPFL broke the jinx of 32 years trophy drought, and the boss says that his side are just awaiting the NPFL kickoff on the 14th of January.

“As a matter of fact we have been able to prepare like any team that wants to go for competition should prepare, we have done the bit we are supposed to do and we are waiting for the date the league will commence in earnest,” Amapakabo told Goal

Imama also confirmed that Chisom Egbuchulam is not in his plans for the coming season, as the attacker will be joining another club in matter of days.
