Maurid Institute of Management and Technology, Nasarawa in Nasarawa State is now on JAMB brochure. JAMB recently on its website said the institute can now run twelve technical courses.

Some of the courses according the proprietor of the institute, Godwin Umotuen have also scaled through hurdles of National Board for Technical Education (NABTEB).

“This week, officials of NABTEB will be in the institute for the purpose giving approval of courses that have not gone through their NABTEB hurdles.”

Mr. Godwin used the opportunity to thank the host community of Nasarawa and pledged to corporate and work with the community to improve the lot of the town and its people.

Speaking further, he enjoined higher institutions in the state, particularly Nasarawa to corporate with governments to check the problems of admission in the state.

Godwin, a product of Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia, said he was touched to establish the institute to give back to Nasarawa State people the education they have given to him.
