New and returning students of the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo have been warned to ensure they register all courses they are to take each semester or be de-recognised.

A statement by the management gave details of the requirements and steps students should take within the next seven weeks followed by two weeks of grace for late registration, which cost N2,500.

Using facilities at the Zenith ICT Centre to register for free, students are expected to complete and download registration forms from the university website, which they can only access after proof of payment of school fees.

Three copies of the course registration forms would then be distributed to their departmental heads, deans, faculty officers while the last would be for keeps.

The statement warned that failure to follow the directives would cost students their admission.

"Any student who fails to register within this period ceases to be a bonafide student of the Lagos State University. For the purpose of emphasis, Senate would not entertain any application for suspension and resumption of studies for failure to register within the time frame given," it warned.
